“Great day trip with lots of beautiful views and wildlife! It was also more affordable than most other tours. We lucked out with some great weather despite the rainy forecast. Alex was a great guide and was interested in getting to know all of us individually, which I appreciated. I personally would have rather skipped the winery and gone straight to Richmond so that we could spend more time exploring the town (but I’m not a wine drinker). Definitely try the homemade lavender ice cream there! I also enjoyed stopping for fresh cherries and nectarines (I recommend highly them!!)”

“Trip exactly as described. Our guide was informative and friendly. The walk in the national park was short(and optional if you didn't want to do it) but beautiful and we saw some wildlife along the way. We had about 4 hours at Port Arthur on our own, which included a harbor cruise. Stop in Richmond was 45 minutes. It was a lot to cram into one day, but didn't feel too rushed. Ticks many boxes for people with limited time in the Hobart area.”

“Our bus tour from Hobart to Richmond was a highlight of our stay in Tasmania. It was so much more than just being driven to and from Richmond. Al (not El) our bus driver and guide, was the star. Despite not being born and bred in Tassie, Al had a commanding knowledge of Tasmanian history and had so many interesting stories to tell us. But he also was very charming and created an atmosphere of camaraderie amongst the passengers during the trip, having us all laughing all the way to Richmond and back. The weather was beyond his control but because he thought it might go bad he stopped to ensure we did get a great view of Hobart and surrounds. He was very careful coming down the mountain in the snow and we had no concerns about our safety. We enjoyed our time at the Botanical Gardens. However, in the afternoon we would have liked less time in Richmond and more at Bonorong.”
